Brilliant turnout yet again for our annual sportsmans dinner last night at the Douglas Hotel, 2 great speakers in John Rowbotham and John Gaughan. A massive thank you to Alan Mathers and his committee for organising this event, its great to have seen it so well supported!
Everyone at Maud JFC would like to thank all participants for their support shown to our Kids Easter Football Camp.
A special thank you to Longleys Country Store for donating goodie bags for all the kids, the club really appreciate your support
And finally a massive thank you to Boomer, without him none of this would have been possible, from organising the event to then hosting it with the help of his coaching staff, Lewis Wright, Kai Benson, Aiden McDonald, Aaron Chapman, Dylan Pirie, Cole Christie, Kyle and Archie
Maud JFC is pleased to announce that our Team Manager, Ryan Christie, and his coaching staff have all signed long-term contracts with us.
Ryan has done an excellent job since joining Maud JFC in December 2021. He has combined a mixture of youth and experience to create a strong squad that, although no trophies yet, is competing very well in the Scottish Junior North Region McBookie.com Premier League. His commitment and dedication are not only to the team management side but his involvement with the off-the-field activities is a key element to the development of the Club, this is well recognised and greatly appreciated by the Club’s Committee members.
Assistant Manager Neil Christie joined us 12 months ago and has been a stalwart in supporting Ryan with team affairs, like Ryan has been highly active and supportive of the rest of the Club activities, again we recognise and very much appreciate this.
Allan Williams is a relatively recent and valuable addition to the Management Team in the position of Goalkeeping Coach. He is already having an impact on the performances of our two main goalkeepers and the committee wishes to formally welcome Allan to the Club.
We are delighted with how the Committee, Team Management, and Players at Maud JFC have been working together to get us where we are and for the future development of the Club.
The Club would also like to advise there is an opening within Ryan’s management team for a First Aider/Physio. This is a key position, so if you have the skills and would be willing to commit to one night a week and a Saturday afternoon then please get in touch for further information on what we can offer. The role would suit someone who is part-qualified or in training. There is also the potential of covering additional training costs. Transport could be arranged.
On behalf of Maud JFC, we would like to thank Ryan and his team for what they have done for the club so far and look forward to working with them to realise the success their hard work and commitment deserve.
Mon i Maud!!

Maud Junior Football Club are based in the village of Maud, near Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire.
Our home pitch is Pleasure Park, Maud.
The club is a member of the Scottish Junior Football Association - North Section.
We compete in the North Region's top division - The McBookie North Region Premier League.
Why not take your interest in football to the next level by getting involved? As a club in a rural location there are only a small number of people on the committee and would welcome anyone who wished to get involved with the running of the club and help towards the clubs success.
As we are still affected with COVID-19 and no foreseeable date for the start of our new season, Maud JC wishes to advise that our Weekly “Take Your Pick” Draw has restarted.
In order to give greater accessibility for our supporters and followers to the draw we will have created an online web page facility to make it easier and simpler for you to make your donation. You are able to enter weekly, monthly or annually via this web page and we shall ensure your entry will be included in the draw each Saturday.
You can still enter with a hard copy paper ticket at the various collection boxes in the village, which will collected by 17:00 each Saturday as normal (also see Update above). Winners will be notified and the result of the draw will be advertised on Maud JFC website, in the Maud JFC Social Club and various locations in and around Maud as normal.
